Everward is nonpartisan. People across political perspectives are welcome. We may discuss questions that matter to public life — what we owe one another, what justice requires — but Everward doesn’t tell people which candidate, party, or political team to support. If you’re looking for a place that confirms your politics, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a place where your politics don’t disqualify you from belonging, it might be.

Everward isn’t a church and doesn’t require a religious belief. Religious wisdom is welcome alongside philosophy, science, history, psychology, literature, and secular thought — people are free to explain how their own beliefs shape their perspective. Believers, skeptics, and the undecided sit at the same table.

No. There’s no belief statement, no creed to sign, no positions to adopt. Come prepared to think, listen, question — and treat the people around you with dignity. “You don’t have to agree to belong here” isn’t a slogan; it’s the design.

Absolutely — most first visits are solo. The morning is designed so a person walking in alone doesn’t feel like an outsider: a greeter meets you at the door, breakfast is built around sitting beside someone new, and nobody expects you to know anyone.

Whatever you’d wear to a friend’s house. Come as you are — there’s no dress code and nobody’s checking.

There’s no charge to come on Sunday — not for breakfast, not for the Gathering. If Everward ever asks for financial support, it will be voluntary, transparent, and never a condition of belonging.

No — walk-ins are always welcome. But if you let us know you’re coming, we’ll watch for you at the door and make your first morning easier.

There isn’t a kind of person for this — that’s the idea. Skeptics, believers, the curious, the tired, the hopeful, the unconvinced: the only requirement is a willingness to walk through the door and treat the people inside it with dignity.

No. We believe people can become better — more truthful, responsible, compassionate, and willing to serve — and we’re building a place that takes that seriously. But we won’t promise transformation we haven’t earned the right to claim. Come curious; judge for yourself. That’s also why we publish how we’re learning — including what isn’t working.
