Learning becomes action.
A meaningful life includes responsibilities beyond personal advancement. That’s not a slogan at Everward — it’s part of the weekly rhythm. Every gathering ends with a commitment, and service is where many of those commitments land.
We show up as neighbors working side by side — never as saviors and beneficiaries. The people we serve are our community, not our project.
How it works
Service grows out of the gathering.
It starts with listening
We learn what Lexington actually needs — from neighbors, not assumptions. Service ideas come from the community, not a planning committee.
Small, concrete, regular
We’d rather do one useful thing every month than announce one grand thing every year. Consistency beats spectacle.
Everyone can come
Service days are open to the whole community — kids, grandparents, first-timers. There’s always a job for every pair of hands.
